RAVENS
at Washington REDSKINS
After a THOROUGHLY forgettable trip to Cleveland ~~ another loss marred by
sloppy play, dropped balls and questionable clock management ~~ our Redskins
find themselves facing an early season crisis as the neighbors from Baltimore
come calling. The Ravens lost to the previously winless Chiefs on Monday Night,
giving up a big running game to Priest Holmes. Clinton Portis is the same style
of running back, so perhaps the same kind of performance could be in the cards
for the Burgundy & Gold. QB Mark Brunell needs a strong performance to silence
the critics who are calling for Patrick Ramsey to be given the ball. But the
first big change needs to be one of cutting down drastically on the penalties…..3rd
and 2 is a lot different from 3rd and7! If we can just start playing the kind
of football we know Coach Gibbs is capable of coaching, we can start grinding
out some wins and get right back in this fight. This will be a Sunday Night
game on national TV, so all the league will be watching. Hopefully, our Redskins
can pull it together and play up to their talent level!

BURGUNDY & GOLD FANTASY FOOTBALL LEAGUE ~ UPDATE ~ WEEK 4
The same parity that is prevalent in the NFL is also alive and well in Fantasy Football. After four weeks of play, only one team in the Burgundy & Gold Fantasy League is really pulling away.
Game Over (Danny Zegan, owner) remains unbeaten with a Monday Night comeback, fueled by Priest Holmes' big night, to defeat the Unsung Heroes (John Domin, owner).
The resurgence of Primetime (Rodney Twyman, owner) continued their winning ways, topping previously unbeaten Jerry's 421 (Mary Priddy, owner) with a huge game from Tiki Barber.
K.D.I. (Chad Costa /Scott Howerton, owners) held on to beat the injury-depleted Calley's Allstars (John Priddy, owner) even though Calley's Allstars made a charge Monday Night on the leg of Chiefs' kicker Lawrence Tynes.
HellFish (Matt Goldie, owner) endured one of the worst wide receiver weeks in memory as he fell to 70-Chip (Kenn Jackson, owner), who is fixing to have to worry about Brett Favre's concussion and Jamal Lewis' court situation.
Closest Game of The Week AGAIN, the Redskins (Linda Domin, owner) once more rode the magic arm of Donovan McNabb to top TDsnDC (Carl Murphy, owner) to win the weekly high point total!
