Last week, the Defense came to play in a major way. They held the Bucs to 19 points on a short field ALL DAY, even after enduring 6 turnovers by the )Offense, and holding the Buccaneers to just 15 yards total in the second half. That is just OUTSTANDING! Unfortunately, a couple of questionable play calls caused us to need a touchdown at the end, which led to a forced pass and a very untimely, game-ending interception.
This weekend will start a season-defining, 5-day stretch with the Bills on Sunday, followed by a Thursday night tilt with the Bears. A short week is probably what our guys need during this tough time so they can take refuge in the preparation, and take out their anger on the opposing team. Trent Edwards is back under center for the Bills, and he showed in the Cowboys game earlier that he gets happy feet if pressure is applied. We need to bring that pressure . . . with Marshawn Lynch at less than 100%, their offensive options are limited at best, so we should be able to bottle them up, but we CANNOT turn the ball over and expect to have any chance.

The Redskins will wear Taylor's No. 21 on their jerseys and helmets. ''I believe #21 will be on every helmet in the league,'' Snyder said. A moment of silence will be observed before every NFL game this week in honor of Taylor.

He was just 1 year older than I, and he had so much going for him . . . so much that was ahead to look forward to. Really makes me think about all the lagging I'VE been doing in my life.
As much as I can't stand any of our big rivals, I would never wish anything like this to happen. So young, so much potential . . . so much heart for the game ... ... so sad that it had to be brought to such a horrendous halt.
RIP Sean Taylor
