A Valiant Effort by the Team

After starting the game with 10 men on Defense, and playing like they had 12 all day in limiting Buffalo to 0 touchdowns, our Redskins were done in by a last minute field goal.  The emotions of the day were all-consuming, and it was heartbreaking to have it end the way it did.  Everyone gave their all, and I was so proud of all of them.  That being said, I am not a Hall of Fame Coach . . . but even I KNOW that you cannot call 2 timeouts in a row in that situation!

‘Nuff said.

The service today for Sean Taylor was very emotional, with standout recollections from Clinton Portis, former Redskin LaVar Arrington, and Jackie Garcia’s sister.  It was very sad, but it served its purpose, to celebrate Sean’s life and hopefully to provide the beginning of closure.

After the ceremony today, the team flew home to get ready for the short week and the desperate Chicago Bears at FedEx Field Thursday night.  The Bears offense is B-A-D, so I am expecting an outstanding performance in this game.  The Bears defense is nowhere near what it once was, so I also expect big things from Jason and the Guys.  

I just have 7 words for the Redskins Coaching Staff . . .
